Absentee Ballots Available for Upcoming Elections

In September, Sudbury residents will head to the polls for a state primary and Special Town Election.

Sudbury residents can currently pick up absentee ballot applications for a pair of upcoming elections by stopping by the Town Clerk’s Office in the upcoming weeks.

Ballots are available for September’s state primary, as well as the recently scheduled Special Town Election.

Residents can print out an absentee ballot application online, or visit the Town Clerk’s Office Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The deadline to submit your absentee ballot application is 12 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 8.

Absentee ballots are for Sudbury residents who are registered voters unable to vote on Election Day due to absence from town during polling hours, physical disability, or religions belief.

Also eligible for an absentee ballot are non-registered voters who are Massachusetts citizens absent from the state, active members of the armed forces, or a person in prison on a non-felony conviction.
