Biden Swears in Sen. Markey During Capitol Ceremony
The newest U.S. senator from Massachusetts was officially sworn in Tuesday.
Long-time former congressman Ed Markey, D-Malden, was sworn into office by Vice President Joe Biden during a brief ceremony at the U.S. Capitol Tuesday morning.Â
He was joined by fellow Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren and interim Sen. William Cohen.Â
