SUDBURY, MA—Obituary via J.S. Waterman and Sons Funeral Home: Charles E. McAndless, Jr., 77, of Sudbury, Massachusetts, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018.

Charles is survived by his wife of 52 years, Yvonne (Marchand) McAndless; his children, Lisa Robinson of Sudbury, Jennifer Hartwell and her husband Joshua of Leicester; grandchildren, Carly Robinson, Hannah Robinson, and Mathew Hartwell; brother, Douglas McAndless and his wife Judy of Venice, FL; numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

He was a devoted husband and father. His grandchildren were the love of his life and he spent countless hours on the sidelines of games and meets cheering them on. He had a big and loving heart and was always looking for ways to help other people and never missed an opportunity to support family, friends, or strangers. He loved travel and adventure, whether it was a beach weekend in Ogunquit, Maine, or a trip with grandchildren to a water slide park. He was a long-time resident of Sudbury and was a member of the first graduating class of Lincoln-Sudbury High School. He also had a strong work ethic and he gave over 40 years to his career in construction. His love of people and life was huge and his absence will be sadly felt by so many.
