Here's a list of the current most checked-out books at Central Massachusetts and Middlesex County libraries.

While there are thousands of titles available, readers are flipping the pages of a sold list of titles that range from mysteries to fiction to political.
According to C/W MARS, here are the top ten checked out books:

- What Happened by Hillary Rodham Clinton
- Deep Freeze by John Sandford
- Manhattan Beach by Jennifer Egan
C/W MARS (Central/Western Massachusetts Automated Resource Sharing, Inc.), according to its website, is a library consortium dedicated to resource sharing and access to information. The network includes public and and academic libraries from 495 to the New York State line with more than 8.5 million physical items and ebooks available to borrow by Massachusetts residents.
