The incident began around 5 a.m. when a Subdury officer spotted a car speeding down Route 20. The officer lost sight of the car. Shortly after that, police got a 911 call about a car off the road near Station Road. When officers reached the car, it was empty.

The teen had left the scene of the crash and then tried to steal a car from a home along Concord Road, police said. A K9 helped police locate and arrest the teen on multiple charges, including motor vehicle larceny.
