Featured Event: Colonial Faire At Longfellows Wayside Inn

The area event helps usher in the autumn season with sights, sounds, beer and food.

SUDBURY, MA—It's one of the best and most well-attended events in Sudbury each fall season. In fact, the shots for some mark the beginning of autumn.

Sudbury's Annual Colonial Faire returns to Longfellows Wayside Inn on Saturday, Sept. 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

At it, more than 20 Fife & Drum corps parade past the 300 year-old inn, where flintlock muskets thunder and Militia and Redcoats clash on the muster field, according to the announcement. Dozens of craft booths offer beautiful handmade authentic gift items, while old-time games and farm animals cater to the younger audience. Sample food and drink both Colonial and modern while browsing the living-history exhibits.
