Goodnow's 2021 Book Sale Fundraiser Will Be Contact-Free
The library is planning a series of events in the coming months to support programming.

SUDBURY, MA — The Goodnow Library's annual book sale will take place over the course of several months in 2021, allowing patrons to support the library through a donation drive, online sales and in-person events.
The annual drive will begin on March 13 with a drive-up collection where patrons can drop off books, including children’s books, nonfiction, fiction and cookbooks.
The library will then kick off an online sale at the end of March. Following that, the library will host pop-up sales for in-person shopping during the summer. The Goodnow is also aiming to sell books inside the library when it reopens fully.

"The book sale is an important revenue source," Goodnow Director Esmé Green said in a news release. "The staff and volunteers have worked countless hours to improve the book sale and allow us to expand as the library moves toward reopening."
Proceeds from the sale will pay for library programs, including museum passes and the NOW Lab makerspace.
