High Winds Knock Out Power For 550+ In Sudbury

SUDBURY, MA—Gusts picked up by mid-afternoon, kicking off what is likely to be more power outages in the area.

Sudbury by 4 p.m. on Saturday had 581 without power of the 7,344 Eversource customers in the town, representing eight percent of the customers. Eversource does not indicate restore times.

A high wind warning is in effect for Central Middlesex on Saturday for the area through 8 p.m., with gusts that could build up to 60 mph.

Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power, with scattered outages expected.
