"All but one of the old Raytheon buildings has been demolished and recycled."
SUDBURY, MA—The construction continues at the old Raytheon building at a "strong pace."
All but one of the old Raytheon buildings has been demolished and recycled at this mixed use development at 528 Boston Post Road, according to a recent update from Mark Herweck, Sudbury's building inspector.
One of the anchor stores, Whole Foods, is still hoping for an early July opening and four buildings have received their building permits, with building plans soon.

"The town departments have been meeting with AvalonBay Communities for the Sudbury apartments and with Pulte Homes for the active adult condos as they prepare for building permits," wrote Herweck.
In June of 2016, Sudbury's Board of Selectmen voted unanimously to approve the development agreement with National Development and Avalon Bay Communities, the developers of the former Raytheon site. Called Meadow Walk Sudbury, the development is located at 528 Boston Post Road (Route 20) in Sudbury. The project includes village-style retail, restaurants, assisted-living and age-restricted condominiums.
