The following is a letter to the editor. The views here do not necessarily reflect those of Sudbury Patch.

We are thrilled to support Silvia Nerssessian in her re-election campaign for the Sudbury School Committee this March.

As parents of three children currently enrolled in Sudbury Public Schools, we’ve seen first-hand what a critically important role the Sudbury School Committee plays throughout their educational journey. As such, we want the most qualified and dedicated people to advocate for our children. Silvia has worked tirelessly, both before and during this heart-wrenching pandemic, to put the needs and well-being of our children first. Silvia is thoughtful and empathetic, but she is also not afraid to ask the tough questions or tackle challenging situations with professionalism and integrity. Silvia is accessible, willing to listen and always looking for feedback. She has answered countless questions of ours throughout the pandemic, and we are unequivocally confidant that she is the strongest candidate. As we continue to navigate this COVID-19 pandemic, Silvia’s wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience will be invaluable to our community in the months and years ahead.
