Overnight Fire Severely Damages Park Ave. Laundromat In Worcester
Firefighters responded early Thursday morning to a 2-alarm fire at a Park Ave. strip mall.

WORCESTER, MA—A laundromat was heavily damaged overnight in a 2-alarm blaze in small Park. Ave. strip mall in Worcester, according to reports.
Heavy fire was reported at 12:10 a.m. on Thursday at Dalena's Laundry at 2 Coes Square, which is off Park Ave., and firefighters were able to quickly get lines into place to stop the spread of it, Deputy Fire Chief Martin Dyer told the Worcester Telegram and Gazette.
The Strip Mall also includes Bahn Thai Restaurant, T&V Nails and Cow Farm, all of which sustained minimal water and smoke damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
