SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury's Camp Sewataro will host a unique Halloween event this month with pandemic safety in mind.

On Oct. 22, local residents will be able to attend a drive-thru "Scarecrow Spectacular" showcase on the property. The camp's grounds will be decorated with all types of scarecrows for visitors to see.

The event will allow residents to take part in a Halloween event, but without mingling with crowds. To attend, fill out this form to indicate what time you'd like to drive through the display.

Although coronavirus cases in Sudbury are low, this Halloween may look a little different due to the pandemic. The state Department of Public Health is recommending Massachusetts residents avoid activities that involve crowds of strangers, including hay rides and indoor haunted houses. And trick-or-treating in large groups is not encouraged.

The camp is also accepting decorations. If you want to contribute a scarecrow to the event, contact the camp before Oct. 16.
