Sudbury Area 4th Of July Fireworks 2021 Canceled

Sudbury doesn't usually have a fireworks show, but there are still some options to celebrate July 4 nearby.

SUDBURY, MA — Although coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, many Independence Day celebrations have once again been canceled, modified or will be held virtually due to the pandemic.

Sudbury doesn't typically have its own July 4 fireworks show, and the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce parade is canceled. Most other nearby fireworks shows and events are also canceled in 2021, but there are a few options if you want to take a drive.

The Worcester Red Sox will be setting off fireworks at the end of each game over the July 4 weekend. You can find tickets here, or head to near Polar Park to see the show. South of Worcester, the Indian Princess cruise ship will float past a show on Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg.

Boston's annual July 4 is back on in some form this year. The city will have a fireworks show over Boston Common rather than along the Charles River. The Boston Pops, meanwhile, while play their concert at Tanglewood in Lenox.
