Sudbury Joins National Drug Take Back Initiative

SUDBURY, MA—The Sudbury Police Department is joining hundreds across the country and taking part in the National Drug Take Back Initiative on Saturday, Oct. 27.

The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day "aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications."

The take-back happens from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and residents can safely dispose of unwanted, unused, expired prescriptions by dropping them off at the Sudbury police station (in the rear).
