Sudbury, Meet Your Memorial Day Grand Marshal
This year, the marshal is a retired and distinguished army veteran.

SUDBURY, MA—Sudbury's Memorial Day festivities include Memorial Day Parade, Grinnell Park Ceremonies, and Hosmer House Program, all on Monday, May 28.
The parade kicks off at 9:30 a.m. at Rugged Bear Plaza.

Accompanied by her family, Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Ingrid Centurion, U.S. Army (Retired), a distinguished Army veteran and Sudbury resident, will serve as 2018 Parade Marshal.
LTC Centurion graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Aeronautical Technology from the School of Engineering and was commissioned into US ARMY Aviation in 1991. She holds a Master’s of Science in Aviation Operations & Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

LTC Centurion’s leadership experience includes: Platoon Leader assignments while stationed with 2nd Infantry Division in Korea; Company Commander, 12th Aviation Battalion, Fort Belvoir, VA; Company Commander, United States Army Aviation Center, Helicopter School Battalion, Fort Rucker, Alabama; Battalion Executive Officer, 1-13th Aviation Regiment, United States Army Aviation Center, Brigade Aviation Standardization Officer, 504th Military Intelligence Brigade and Battalion Executive Officer, 15th Military Intelligence Battalion, Fort Hood, Texas; Joint Operations Mission Planner for the Southwest Border, Fort Bliss, Texas; Deputy J35 Operations Officer, Joint Task Force North, Fort Bliss Texas.
Her awards and decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Master Aviator Badge, and Airborne Parachutist Badge. She is a graduate of the U.S. Army’s Aviation Officers’ Basic and Advanced Courses, the US Army’s Military Intelligence Office Basic and Advanced Course, the US Army Maintenance Test Pilot Course, the U.S. Army’s Combined Arms Service Staff School, the U.S. Army’s Command and General Staff College, and the US Army Joint Course Norfolk, VA.
Centurion is the CEO of Centurion Technologies Consulting LLC. Additionally, she serves as the Executive Vice President First Region Association of the United States Army (AUSA). She is also the Senior Vice Commander of the Veterans of Foreign War, VFW Post 929, and is a member of the Sudbury American Legion. She is the marketing-chair to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Chief Information Officer (CIO) Symposium. She hosts and produces her own cable TV show called Inspiring Careers which will be aired on ACCESS Framingham TV. She is a motivational speaker, inspiring and empowering people of all ages. Her recent challenge is with an MIT start up company as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Lunar Station Corporation (LSC). As the CMO, she is responsible for the branding, communications and marketing strategy for LSC.
Centurion is married to Jose Moreno, and they have two sons, Anthony 19, and Brandon 17, and she takes her care of mother, Eva Centurion who resides with them.
