Sudbury Organizations Collecting Backpacks for Youth in Need
The annual backpack and school supply drive lasts through September 8.

A pair of Sudbury organizations are combining forces to help less fortunate children be ready for the upcoming school year.
HOPEsudbury and First Parish of Sudbury are collecting backpacks and school supplies for children living at the Family Shelters of the Middlesex Human Services Agency and Sudbury youth.
The organizations are accepting backpacks, notebooks, binders, paper, pencils, pens, calculators, dividers, pencil caces, book covers, and other supplies.

Bins will be located at First Parish of Sudbury at 327 Concord Road, Goodnow Library, Grange Hall at 326 Concord Road, The Performing Arts Connection on Union Ave., the Longfellow Club and its Children’s Center, found at 524 Boston Post Road in Wayland.
This is the 11th year HOPEsudbury and First Parish have combined for the backpack drive. The drive lasts through September 8.

“These backpacks and supplies make a tremendous difference for these children being prepared for school every day,” said HOPEsudbury board member Carole Ann Baer. “Thank you to all who so selflessly contribute every year.”
