Sudbury Pastor Appointed to Catholic Fund Board by Cardinal O'Malley

Four people were appointed to the Catholic Community Fund Board of Trustees, including a Sudbury pastor.

 

The Rev. Richard Erikson, of Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Sudbury, has been appointed by Cardinal Sean O'Malley to the Catholic Community Fund Board of Trustees, according to church officials.

O'Malley appointed Erikson, Sheila C. Cavanaugh, Daniel L. Fitzgerald and Kevin P. Martin to the board, according to a press release from the Archdiocese of Boston.

The Catholic Community Fund helps create permanent charitable funds to help Catholic parishes, schools, social services and other Catholic faith ministries, the press release says. 

Erikson is the sixth pastor of Our Lady of Fatima Parish, and has been a priest in the Archdiocese of Boston since his ordination in 1985.
