Sudbury Police ID Masked Man Who Entered Local Home
The man was wanted by Sudbury and Lincoln police after he was seen sneaking around homes along Route 117.
SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury police have identified a masked man seen approaching homes along Route 117 recently.
The department put out a call recently for tips about the man after he walked in the garage of a home, where he was confronted by the homeowner. The man, who was riding a scooter and wearing a mask, told the homeowner he was trying to sell magazine.
Sudbury police said the magazine excuse was likely a "ruse."

But the department reminded residents to be vigilant due to an increase in thefts. The department reported a rise in auto thefts in late August, which may be tied to an out-of-state criminal ring.
"However, we want to remind people that yes, this is a safe area, but it is still important to keep your doors (cars and homes) locked," the department said in a Facebook post.
