Masked, Scooter-Riding Intruder Sought By Sudbury Police

The masked scooter rider entered a garage on Monday. Lincoln police are also in search of him.

SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury police are seeking a masked, scooter-riding man entered a home on Monday.

According to police, the man walked into the garage of a home along Route 117 just after 3 p.m. The homeowner was in the garage, and the masked man explained that he was trying to sell magazines.

"We believe this to be a ruse but, if it is true, it is also a violation of the solicitor by-laws," Sudbury police said in a Facebook post Tuesday.

Sudbury police released a photo of the suspect on Tuesday afternoon. Police in Lincoln also want to find the masked man after he was seen at a home along Route 117 on Sept. 5.

Sudbury police are asking any residents from North, Mossman and Longfellow roads for surveillance footage that may have captured the scooter-rider. Contact the department at 978 443-1042.
