Sudbury Spring Fling and Egg Hunt Raises Funds for MetroWest Free Medical Program

This family fun event helps raise money for the nonprofit. Plus, Flower the Clown will be there.

SUDBURY, MA — Local organizers are planning a family fun event that they hope will raise lots of money for a good cause.

The Sudbury Spring Fling and Egg Hunt takes place on Saturday, April 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lincoln-Sudbury High School. The event includes arts and crafts, games, massages, a silent auction, vendors, food, an egg hunt, Flower the Clown, Disney characters, interactive demos, drumming lessons, karate, health tips and a lot more.

The cost is $1 per child, and adults are free.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit MetroWest Free Medical Program, which is a local nonprofit organization that provides free medical care to MetroWest residents (who are either uninsured or underinsured). More than 40 local businesses have already signed up to help sponsor and exhibit.

"We are still accepting Sponsorship request from local business who would like to receive exposure in our Community Event," said organizer Stephanie Carr.
