SVTs Plan Thanksgiving Day Walk at Mainstone Farm

This 'Give Thanks to the Land' is a nice way celebrate local nature and wildlife on Thanksgiving.

WAYLAND, MA—It's not all about stuffing your face (but that's part of it). The Sudbury Valley Trustees are offering locals a chance to "Give Thanks for the Land" on Thanksgiving morning.

Take a Thanksgiving Day walk at Mainstone Farm in Wayland on Thursday, Nov. 24, from 10 a.m. to noon, to celebrate local nature and wildlife on this day of appreciation and thanks.

Lisa Vernegaard, SVT’s executive director, leads this fast paced walk through Mainstone Farmand the trails of Hamlen Woods to work up an appetite for your Thanksgiving feast.
