Trees In Sudbury On The Chopping Block
There are six trees on the chopping block for Sudbury. The tree warden is holding a public hearing about it should you have a concern.

SUDBURY, MA—If you happen to want to save a certain tree in town, speak up, or it may be going. But, as DPW Director Dan Nason explains, most of the trees [slated to be cut] are dead or need to come down for some other reason.
On Friday, Nov. 9, the Sudbury tree warden is holding a public hearing regarding the removal or trimming of several trees in Sudbury. The hearing is being held at 6 p.m.

- 15 Autumn Road, 1 red maple 30″
- 187 Goodman Hill Road, 1 oak 30″
- 215 Goodman Hill Road, 1 oak 30″
- 220 Goodman Hill Road, 1 elm 18″
- 213 Meadow Dr., 1 red maple 28″
- 89 Mossman Road, 1 elm 32″
"Others are notified through correspondence with residents when they have concern for safety," Nason told Patch.. "We are in the process this winter to develop a more formal process of requesting the tree warden look at a tree issue. This way we can track the progress. "
