Voter Registration Sessions Approaching in Sudbury

A Special Town Election, Special Town Meeting, and State Primary are coming up in September.

Sudbury residents will be asked to head to the polls during a September Election Day and Town Meeting. And this month, voters will have the opportunity to make sure they’re registered to make their choice when the time comes.

A Special Town Election is scheduled for the same day as the State Primary on Tuesday, Sept. 9.

In advance of those elections, the deadline to register to vote or change your voter registration is Wednesday, Aug. 20.

Also in Sudbury, a Special Town Meeting is scheduled to seek additional funding for the new police station. Special Town Meeting will take place on Thursday, Sept. 4 and the final day to make changes or register to vote is Monday, Aug. 25.

To make the process easier for residents, the Town Clerk’s Office is holding voter registration session at Town Hall on Wednesday, Aug. 20, and Monday, Aug. 25, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Residents who wish to register in advance of the deadlines can do so by mail or at the Town Clerk’s Office.
