WATCH: Chris Evans Reunites With Dog Dodger
The Sudbury native, and also Captain America, is a real softie for his rescue pooch.
SUDBURY, MA— Superheroes are tough, but they've also got heart. Sudbury native and actor Chris Evans recently Tweeted the countdown until he got home from a ten-week shoot to see his beloved dog Dodger.
The reunion was caught on video and swept the Internet, particularly heavy traveled animal-loving sites such as The Dodo.
Evans stars in the Captain America series of movies, most recently playing the character in "Spider-Man: Homecoming." He’s played other superheroes, such as Johnny Storm in the Fantastic Four movies, and also was the lead in "Gifted," a film about a single guy raising a gifted child. Evans grew up in Sudbury, and has a sister who teaches drama at Lincoln-Sudbury High School.
