Woman Kidnapped, Beaten By Sudbury Man: Police
Police said Peter Bozier, 28, also fought with police after his arrest, and had to be brought to a hospital in Concord multiple times.
SUDBURY, MA — A 28-year-old Sudbury man has been charged with kidnapping and many other crimes after police said he held a woman and beat her this week.
Sudbury police responded to Lahey Hospital in Burlington on Tuesday after a woman sought treatment after being held in a Sudbury apartment. Police later arrested Peter Bozier, 28, during a traffic stop in Sudbury.
According to police, Bozier held the woman in his apartment, beat her and threatened to kill her and her child. After his arrest, Bozier fought with police at the station, and suffered a cut on his finger, police said. He was also taken to Emerson Hospital in Concord twice after complaining of "medical ailments," police said.

Several Sudbury officers suffered scrapes and cuts during the ordeal, police said.
Bozier appeared at Framingham District Court on Wednesday and was charged with kidnapping, strangulation, assault and battery, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, intimidation of a witness, two counts of assault on a police officer, threats to commit a crime and several moving violations.

Bozier is being held in jail pending a dangerousness hearing set for next week.
