A B&E and Another Stolen Package

The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.


Thursday, Oct. 3

  • 0:24 a.m., an Outlook Road caller wanted to talk to an officer about his car being egged.
  • 2:39 a.m., a field interview was conducted with a person on Paradise Road.
  • 9:06 a.m., an officer was requested to stand-by at a Nichols Road residence to keep the peace while items were removed from the home.
  • 9:14 a.m., an employee on Paradise Road wanted to see police about a problem the employee was having with the boss. 
  • 11:03 a.m., a Fish House caller wanted to talk to an officer about a landlord problem.
  • 11:30 a.m., a caller reported a problem with his mother/landlord on Puritan Road.
  • 3:06 p.m., police received a report of larceny of a package at an Atlantic Avenue address.
  • 3:32 p.m, a resident came home on Essex Street and found that a window air-conditioning unit had been pushed in and a jewelry box was missing.
Friday, Oct. 4
  • 8:45 a.m., a report of a bandaged dog wandering in the middle of Humphrey Street.
  • 9:46 a.m., a possible scam was reported on Norfolk Avenue.
  • 11:12 a.m., possible larceny at Dunkin' Donuts reported.
  • 4:13 p.m., police charged Arturo Robles, 24, of 58 Carnes St., Lynn, with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
