A Burned Flag and Half-Naked Man

The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, July 23

  • At 8:36 a.m., police received a report of a motor vehicle parked in the same location at Huron Street and Pine Street for the past three days.
  • At 8:48 a.m., two motor vehicles were ticketed on Columbia Street.
  • At 10:06 p.m., police received a complaint about overtime parking on Humphrey Street in the vicinity of the new construction.
  • At 11:25 a.m., a trailer hit a resident’s motor vehicle at Burrill Street and Rock Avenue.
  • At 1:36 p.m., a caller reported a half naked man walking in the road on Marshall Street and Puritan Road. Police did not locate the man.
  • At 3:23 p.m., a tree limb was reportedly taken down by a passing truck at Humphrey Street and Shelton Road.
  • At 6:09 p.m., a caller was reportedly upset by an American flag being burned and other goings-on at local Housing Authority property.
  • At 6:19 p.m., police received a report that a parked motor vehicle was struck some time during the day on Rock Avenue.
