A Dog Bite and a Fist Fight

The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, Nov. 10

2:23 p.m., an officer had eight motor vehicles moved out of the fire lane.

4:50 p.m., police received a report of a man with a metal detector digging on town property by the swingset at Hadley School. The man was spoken to.

Monday, Nov. 11

3:53 a.m., a clerk at CVS reported that a man ran from the store with a package.

1:22 p.m., a worker came to the police station to report a dog bite on Minerva Street. The man refused medical attention. The animal control officer was notified.

1:43 p.m., a hit and run was reported on New Ocean and Pine Street. 

3:39 p.m., a fist fight was reported on Cherry Street and Hillside Avenue. Police responded and nothing was showing.

8:28 p.m., a car was blocking a Forest Avenue driveway. It was towed.

10:56 p.m., an erratic operator was reportedly headed toward Marblehead at Humphrey and Pleasant Streets. State OUI arrest. No further information was available.

Tuesday, Nov. 12

8:33 a.m., five motor vehicles were ticketed on Burrill Street.

12:41 p.m., a caller reported a woman at a Humphrey Street address was asking for police to respond. The woman was bitten by an animal.

Wednesday, Nov. 13

3:53 a.m., a Banks Road caller reported that she heard a big noise and is unsure what it was.

3:55 a.m., police responded to an alarm at First Church and discovered the rear door was open. They checked the interior and it was secure.
