Marathon experience: I ran my first marathon in San Diego back in 2001 and have been running the San Diego Rock and Roll Half Marathon for the past 7 years.

Reason for running: My mom and her siblings are part of a genetic study on glaucoma at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. When I was offered the opportunity to join Team Eye and Ear, I jumped at the chance to help put an end to glaucoma.
