Brand New Batch Of Swampscott-Area Patch Pumpkin Photos

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Earlier this month, Patch asked readers to submit their pumpkin photos to showcase them for readers.

And you responded. Then you responded some more.

So here are a few more fun, festive shots from the North Shore. Keep them coming through Halloween.

This photo — submitted by Sharon Cook — is a decorated pumpkin from the 2019 "Fur Ball" that was a centerpiece at the benefit to raise money for the Friends of Beverly Animals. While the benefit could not be held for a 13th year this year due to the public health crisis, this throwback shot is worth another look.

This photo — submitted by Charlie Pihokken — is of his grandson, Lucas Medeiros of Charlestown, in front of the "Vote" pumpkin on display in the Salem Commons Park.

Carol Krieger, of Marblehead, sent us a pair of very nice pumpkin-themed displays.
