The Swampscott Public Schools is available to evaluate Swampscott students, who attend private schools.

If there are academic concerns about a student who resides in Swampscott, private school personnel or the student’s parents can refer him/her for an evaluation to determine if he/she qualifies for an Individual Educational Program (IEP).

Please send your referral to the above address.

Please include the following:

• the name of the referring person
• the school the student currently attends
• address and phone number of the student
• student’s name and date of birth
• the reason for referral

The Swampscott Public Schools will initiate the process for an initial evaluation.
