Copper Downspout Stolen From Church

The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Jan. 9

9:46 a.m., police responded to Holy Name Church, 60 Monument Ave., for a report that the church's copper downspout had been stolen.

1:09 p.m., police responded to a report of a parked vehicle being struck on Roy Street.

4:21 p.m., a Bay View Drive resident reported a past assault.

7:22 p.m., police received a report of an individual being threatened on Bay View Drive.

10:26 p.m., a Bay View Drive resident reported that her ex-boyfriend keeps calling her.

Friday, Jan. 10

10:07 a.m., a motor vehicle was stopped for speeding in a school zone. The operator was unlicensed and issued a criminal summons.

11:07 a.m., police received a report from Monument Avenue regarding dissemination of unwanted photographic images.
