Swampscott Teen In Critical Condition After Crash
The 17-year-old was transferred to Massachusetts General Hospital after initially being taken to Salem Hospital.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott and Massachusetts State Police are investigating Saturday night's single-car crash that left a 17-year-old in critical condition. According to the Essex County District Attorney's office, police were called to Forest Avenue and Supreme Court at 8:54 p.m. for a report of a car crash. There they found the Swampscott teen, who crashed his 2001 Toyota Echo into a utility pole.
The teen was the only occupant of the vehicle. He was unresponsive when he was removed from the car. The 17-year-old was transferred to Massachusetts General Hospital after initially being taken to Salem Hospital. He was in critical condition at Mass General.
