Father-Daughter Dance Returns To Swampscott In June
The event will be held at Swampscott High School on June 17.
Swampscott High School will host the Father-Daughter Dance on Friday, June 17 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the high school lobby. The event is geared towards girls between ages 5 – 12 that are accompanied by their father or someone else of their choosing.
The Police Association and a group called For The Love of Swampscott have decided to co-host the event, bringing the popular dance back to the town after a five-year absence. The Police Association last hosted the dance in 2011.
Gina Bush and Anne Quagrello of FLOS were excited at the proposal of the dance returning to the town.

The theme for this year’s Father-Daughter Dance is Hollywood, as a red carpet will be rolled out for the young ladies making their entrance, paparazzi props will be on-hand, as will an Academy Award trophy.
Bush said that considerable effort is being put into the Hollywood theme for the dance.
