Here are some of the first flakes we saw in Swampscott in the Tuesday, Jan. 21, storm.
They are falling in the Super Stop & Shop parking lot at 4:45 p.m.
It's been a see-saw season. Cold alternating with warm, snow with sunshine.
The latest tip of the see-saw has us at the cold and snowy end. A bank temp reading we saw shortly after the flakes fell registered 13 degrees.
Latest we heard was up to eight inches of snow. Fluffy stuff. Then days in the deep chill.
