Garelick Farms Shuttering Lynn Plant: Report

LYNN, MA — Garelick Farms is shuttering it's Lynn factory after years as one of the largest employers in the city, the Item reported. The Lynnway plant is reportedly one of several across the country slated for closure due to, as the Item put it, the milk business "souring."

The Massachusetts-based dairy company started nine decades ago in Franklin.

Garelick Farms is a subsidiary of Dallas-based Dean Foods.
