The Girl Scouts Are Asking for Sock Donations

Help keep someone's feet warm with your donation of new socks.

Socks. They are an article of clothing you probably don’t think about all that often, but if you didn’t have any, you’d probably notice... especially in this recent weather.

The Girl Scouts of Ocean Bay Junior Troop 75284 want to help make sure no one has to know what it’s like to be sockless in the snow with its Winter Sock Drive By going on now.

According to a post on the Swampscott Patch Facebook page, the scouts are collecting NEW socks through Feb. 13 to donate to guests at My Brother’s Table.
