ICYMI: Swampscott Selectmen Answer Rail Trail Questions

SWAMPSCOTT, MA – If you still have questions about Swampscott's proposed Rail Trail, you may be in luck. In late June, the Board of Selectmen answered all questions submitted to them about the Rail Trail.

The questions, which are posted online, covered eminent domain, property ownership, the process, and the costs and funding associated with the trail.

In late June, during a special election, the proposed Swampscott Rail Trail passed 2,741 to 2,152 votes.
