Incumbent Selectman Unseated in Swampscott
Elections results from the Annual Town Election.

Swampscott, MA - Incumbent Selectman Matthew Strauss was upset in a three-way race for two seats on the board in Tuesday's Annual Town Election.
Strauss lost out in a close race to Donald Hause of the Zoning Board of Appeals and former Planning Board member Patrick Jones.
Hause finished with 999 votes, Jones with 912, and Strauss with 810, according to the unofficial results from the Town Clerk's office.

Turnout was light for the election, as 16 percent of the town's 10,294 registered voters cast ballots.
