Lost, Angry and Running Dogs
The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Sept. 30
- 6:53 a.m., police received a report of a breaking and entering at 250 essex St. Electrical tools were taken.
- 9:08 a.m., a vehicle with a flat tire was found in the old Kid's Cove parking lot by the field house on Humphrey Street. The vehicle was perhaps abandoned.
- 10:05 a.m., a person was asleep in a gold Lexus SUV at the Vinnin Mobil station.
- 1:10 p.m., the manager at the Vinnin Mobil reported two panhandlers were bothering customers. They left before police arrived.
- 3:07 p.m., a black Labrador retriever was found on Worcester Avenue. The animal control officer was notified.
- 3:14 p.m., a caller on Humphrey Street reported that a neighbor's dog tried to get into his house to attack his dog. The screen on the door was broken.
- 10:28 p.m., a small black car was reportedly being driven on the wrong side of the road headed towards Lynn.
- 4:32 a.m., a caller reported that a man was throwing plants and trees over the wall onto the beach on Humphrey St. It was an owner who was doing yard work. He was advised by police.
- 8:38 a.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported at Hillside Avenue and Roy Street.
- 9:29 a.m, a Phillips Avenue resident reported a package was stolen from her porch.
- 10:21 a.m., a caller reported she was holding on to a dog she found running in traffic at 25 Salem St.
- 2:59 p.m., two religious men wanted to get into a Burrill Street caller's home and the caller wanted them to leave her property.
- 4:11 p.m., a Salem Street caller reported a UPS delivery package was stolen from her property.
- 7:48 p.m., larceny was reported on Orchard Road.
- 9:02 p.m., an out-of-control person was reported on Ingalls Terrace.
