Swampscott Collecting Traffic Data Amid Walker Road Shift
The town said it is changing the traffic pattern to a one-way street to collect data as part of planned infrastructure improvements.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Those traveling in the area of Walker Road in Swampscott are in for some big changes over the next month as the town collects traffic data for planned infrastructure improvements.
Starting Wednesday, traffic will flow one way in a southbound direction on the road from the Paradise Road intersection to the Banks Road intersection.
This shift will run through June 4 when it will then be switched starting June 7 to run one way southbound for the next two weeks through June 18.
