Man Looking in Home's Window Searching for Lost Cat
The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Oct. 11
- 3:16 p.m., a Blodgett Avenue resident reported their property was vandalized overnight.
- 3:39 p.m., a Norfolk Avenue caller reported her driveway was blocked by a parked motor vehicle. Police ticketed the vehicle and it was moved.
- 5:25 p.m., an accident was reported on Monument Avenue. The operators exchanged paperwork.
- 7:17 p.m., the animal control officer took in an un-neutered male black Labrador found at the train station.
- 00:22 a.m., a woman on Hawser Lane reported a man was looking into the window of her residence and then ran to the pool area. The man was described as tall and thin, wearing a dark-colored hoodie. It was determined that the person was a relative looking for a lost cat.
- 00:30 a.m., a scooter with no marking was stopped at Essex Street and the Mall Access Road. The person had an outstanding warrant and was taken into custody. No further information was available.
- 4:04 a.m., a loud house party was reported in the area of Elwin Street and Winsor Avenue.
- 8:27 a.m., a Foster Road resident reported that someone broke the rear window of their motor vehicle.
- 8:46 a.m., a hit-and-run was reported at Vinnin Square and Paradise Road.
- 9:14 a.m., a motor vehicle was vandalized on Burpee Road.
- 6:39 p.m., a caller reported a man was being assaulted by two other men at Eastman Avenue and Essex Street.
- 8:48 p.m., a domestic argument was reported in the Gourmet Garden parking lot.
- 10:35 A.m., a caller reported being threatened over the telephone.
- 12:33 p.m., a caller reported an attempted breaking-and-entering to a motor vehicle on Fuller Avenue.
- 4:28 p.m., a motor vehicle accident involving a walker and a dog was reported at Phillips Avenue and Plummer Avenue.
- 6:28 p.m., police received a report of gunshots being fired from the direction of Puritan Road.
