Marblehead Man Charged With OUI
The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Dec. 21
11:33 a.m., two vehicles were ticketed on Burrill Street.
12:34 p.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported in front of the 7-Eleven on Humphrey Street.
10 p.m., police received a report of people running in and out of yards on The Greenway. They were gone upon police's arrival.
Sunday, Dec. 22
2:33 a.m., a traffic sign was struck at Atlantic Avenue and Humphrey Street. The suspect's vehicle fled.Â
4:14 p.m., a Hampden Street resident reported that a houseguest was receiving harassing texts from her ex-husband. The texts originated in Maryland.
11:15 p.m., police charged Anderson Ugwuegbu, 52, of 15 Essex Ave., Lynn with failure to stop for police and speeding in violation of a special regulation. His vehicle was towed. The low-speed pursuit started at 200 Essex Street in Swampscott and continued to Lynn where the man was arrested without incident.
Monday, Dec. 23
9:18 a.m., a vehicle was ticketed on Columbia street.
10:05 a.m., a motor vehicle went off the road and struck a telephone pole causing extensive damage to the vehicle. The operator was given a criminal citation and the vehicle was towed. No further information was available.
10:45 a.m., a Roy Street resident was reportedly throwing large pieces of ice into the road.
12:34 p.m., a woman drove to the police station and reported that a car had followed her from Stop and Shop after a road rage incident.
12:55 p.m., police received a report from Stop and Shop of a woman screaming in the parking lot. The yelling was related to a motor vehicle accident.
4:05 p.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported at 131 Paradise Road.
Tuesday, Dec. 24
00:49 a.m., a Hemenway Road resident reported that eggs were thrown at their house. The resident believes a neighbor is the egg thrower.
1:45 a.m., a car got stuck in a Pine Street driveway. Police charged Theodore Booras, 55, 65 Ware Lane, Marblehead with OUI liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
