Military Members Serving on Veterans Day

Here are two military members from Swampscott featured in Defense Imagery and Video Distribution System releases this year:

One, from November, is of United States Navy Lt. James Morrison who travelled with sailors from the Misawa Naval Air Facility to visit residents of the Bikoen Orphanage for their annual Halloween party for the residents and staff. 

The other release, from July, is of military member Nicholas Schultz, who was featured as a United States Marine Corps recruit in Platoon 2075, Hotel Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, waiting to enter the fighting ring during pugil stick training July 8, 2013, on Parris Island, S.C.

Nicholas is now receiving Marine Corps combat training at Camp Geiger, N.C. and scheduled for additional training in Florida before he receives his permanent duty station.
