Mission On The Bay Opens In Swampscott

After many delays and postponements, the Mission On The Bay restaurant in Swampscott is finally open for business. The new restaurant is located across from Humphrey Park on Linscott St. and is serving seven nights a week, starting at 5 p.m.

“The doors are finally cracked open and we are ready to rock n’ roll,” the Mission On The Bay Facebook page declared.

The restaurant is currently on serving dinner, although lunch service may arrive later into the summer.

Construction on the restaurant began back in 2014. After numerous setbacks, Swampscott town officials were hoping for a grand opening in late April or early May.
