Neighbor vs Neighbor Dispute Reported on Manson

The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, July 31

  • At 6:55 a.m., a false alarm sounded at Doherty Circle.
  • At 7:30 a.m., a severely dehydrated person was transported from a Paradise Road apartment to the hospital.
  • At 12:06 p.m., a Rock Avenue caller reported that a car has been parked in front of her house for weeks.
  • At 11:33 p.m., police received a report that kids were drinking on the rocks behind the Hawthorne by the Sea at 153 Humphrey. The youth were not drinking. They were moved along.
Thursday, Aug. 1
  • At 6:59 a.m., police received a report that a bicycle was found at CVS. The bicycle was taken in for safe keeping by police.
  • At 8:49 a.m., a Manson Street caller reported that a neighbor tried to hit him with his car. The neighbors went back in their homes and it appears there is an ongoing problem between them.
  • At 9:14 a.m., police reported giving tickets to seven vehicles on Burrill Street.
  • At 9:30 a.m., a stray dog was found in the Eastern Bank parking lot, located at 405 Paradise Road.
  • At 9:41 a.m., a Paradise Road caller reported receiving harassing phone calls.
  • At 11:02 a.m., a person came to the station and reported that a man came into a Crosman Avenue yard at 2:30 a.m. Saturday and said he had to urinate.
Friday, Aug. 2

  • At 12:31 a.m., police received a report that several trucks were parked at the corner of Puritan Road at Phillips Beach Avenue creating a hazardous situation.
  • At 12:46 p.m., a caller reported a moving van was parked at Forest and Redington and making it impossible for people to see past the van.
  • At 6:48 p.m., a caller reported that people were climbing in and out of a first-floor window at 1002 Paradise and yelling at each other.
  • At 9:21 p.m., teens were reportedly screaming by Stop&Shop.
