Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestra To Hold Auditions In June

The Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestra is now accepting musicians for the upcoming 2016 – 2017 season.

Auditions will be held on Saturday, June 11 from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Ipswich High School at 134 High St. for all new and continuing musicians at all levels between ages 6 – 18.

Brass, woodwind, string, and percussion students are all invited to attend the audition. The audition will include playing scales, performing a piece of music chosen by the auditioner to display contrasting styles, and sight-reading at an appropriate level.
