1. Movie Night at Linscott Tonight:Â
See Men in Black III tonight, Wednesday, Aug. 7, at 8 pm at Linscott Park.
The PG 13 movie stars Tommy Lee Jones, Will Smith, Josh Brolin and Emma Thompson.The outdoor movie will include concessions, as well — something new this summer.
The Cannoli Guy, who is a vendor at the Swampscott Farmers Market, will be selling popcorn, iced coffee and cannolis.
The department will be presenting an outdoor kids movie on Thursday, Aug. 22.

The following students have been named to Plymouth State University's Dean's List. To be named to the Dean's List at Plymouth State, a student must achieve a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.69 during the spring semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester. These credit hours must be in courses that earn grade points and the student must have completed all such courses attempted.

The town is looking for volunteers for the Permanent Athletic Field Study Committee. For info contact  the Board of Selectmen office @ 781-596-8850 or fill out a volunteer application through the town website.Â
5. Festa Time:Â
Holy Family Church in Lynn, 26 Bessom St., the home to several of Ocean Bay's Girl Scout troops as well an annual cookie swap, is having its annual FESTA Italiana on August 8-10. The event promises to be lots of fun with a special "Kids Day" theme on Saturday from 12-4. Entertainment provided by "Sea Bees" of Swampscott on Thursday evening, a yet-to-be-announced act on Friday evening and dance presentations from "Donna's Dance" and a visit from "Elvis" on Saturday evening.Â
