Phillips Beach Parking Meeting Tonight Before Traffic Committee

1. Traffic Study Takes Up Phillips Beach Parking Tonight:Â Â
The Traffic Study Committee will meet at 6 p.m. at the Swampscott Senior Center to talk Phillips Beach parking, and the possibility of increasing recreation sticker parking around that neighborhood. The committee will bring a recommendation to selectmen. Any change to parking would need selectmen's approval.

3. Student News: Jarryd O'Connell '14, an economics major, was named to the Dean's List at Union College for the 2012-13 academic year. Jarryd is a 2010 graduate of Swampscott High School.

To make Dean's List, students must receive a 3.5 grade point average for the entire academic year. They also must meet several other requirements to be awarded the honor.
4. More School News: We'll have more on this tomorrow but high school open campus privileges are undergoing major changes. One of the changes is that only seniors will be eligible, and they will need to meet academic requirements to qualify for the privilege.
