Pier Jumping and an Accident on Paradise
The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, July 14
- At 00:9 a.m., a caller reported a loud party on Puritan Road. Police made contact with the partiers and advised them to keep the noise down.
- At 11:12 a.m., police received a complaint about a business placing surfboards on town park property, Linscott Park, in violation of a town ordinance.
- At 4:05 p.m., police received a second complaint about a business placing surfboards on town park property, Linscott Park, in violation of a town ordinance. Police asked the business to remove the surfboards immediately.
- At 4:24 p.m., kids who were jumping from the pier were dispersed by police.Â
- At 5:37 p.m., police received a report of kids jumping off the pier.
- At 5:51 p.m., police received a report about a missing 6-year-old child on Barnstable Street.
- At 6:03 p.m., a person reported that someone other than himself or a family member had picked up his prescription from CVS.
- At 6:18 p.m., police received a report of a carload of kids smoking dope by Machon School.
- At 10:06 p.m., a person came to the police station to request a well being check. The person was given a breath test and placed in protective custody.
- At 6:18 p.m., police received a report of a 12-year-old boy who left the house after arguing with his father.
- Pine Street caller reported that four teens in hoodies took the front plate from a car in the driveway and ran off towards Superior Street.

- At 7:07 a.m., a Paradise Road person requested an officer regarding suspicious activity.
- At 6:32 p.m., police received reports of unregistered door-to-door salespeople.
Tuesday, July 16
- At 10:47 a.m., a burned out circuit board was reported in an attic on Nirvana Drive.
- At 1:20 p.m., police received a report that people were measuring property on Burpee Road. It turned out the people surveying the land were from Patriot Properties and doing work for the town.
- At 2:26 p.m., a motor vehicle accident took place at Ellis Road and Paradise Road. There was personal injury. Police had a vehicle towed to the police station and an officer completed a reconstruction of the accident scene.
- At 4:03 p.m., a caller reported that a motor vehicle struck her parked car on Suffolk Avenue.
- At 4:16 p.m., police received a report of a man exposing himself on Burrill Street by the library.
- At 5:07 p.m., a Paradise Road resident reported the theft of a bicycle.
